St Bede wins promotion for Sunderland FC with DJ Frank Dougan

Sunderland Football Club won promotion to the English Premier League on 24 May 2025 due to the intersession of Sunderland born Saint Bede- The Venerable Bede, Doctor of the Roman Catholic Church. This was because I predicted to the staff in The Port of Call restaurant/ bar at the start of the 2024/25 season that Sunderland would be promoted because my campaign with Sunderland Council for the conservation of St. Bede's Cross at Roker Park seafront had been successfully carried out by Sunderland Council. These type of comments by prominent historians I.E. Henry Meikle; ' Men like the Bloody Mackenzie were bad Christians, but good Protestants.' This from a respected I presume, Protestant historian and I being a simple soul, seem to get the drift with that statement that it is acceptable and correct for Protestants to live above the Christian path.
